Through our education initiatives, we promote financial literacy among school students and communities. We want people to understand practical concepts such as saving, budgeting, needs and wants, responsible spending, and financial planning so that they can make better decisions in their everyday lives. For us, financial literacy is not simply about understanding financial terminology; it is about building the confidence to make informed choices.
Our key environmental focus is agroforestry. We work with farmers to explore ways in which trees and agriculture can grow together on the same landscape. By understanding farm conditions, farmer aspirations and local realities, we aim to develop practical agroforestry models that can be nurtured over time. Our larger environmental vision is to Plant & Nurture One Million Trees and build a stronger relationship between farms, communities and nature.
We believe emotional well-being is an essential part of human development. Through counselling and supportive interventions at the school and community level, we aim to create spaces where individuals can express themselves, understand their emotions and seek appropriate support. We want to encourage empathy, self-awareness, healthy communication and a culture where people feel comfortable being heard.
We believe communities become stronger when they have the skills, knowledge and opportunities to create and manage their own solutions. Through initiatives such as community nurseries and vermicompost centres, we are exploring practical models that can promote sustainable agriculture, strengthen local capacities and create opportunities for community participation and livelihoods. Our long-term aspiration is to move from a beneficiary-oriented approach towards genuine community ownership.
